Synopsis

MAYA Come on, come on—where are you, Leslie? The door bursts open. DETECTIVE RAY VOSS, 50s, gun drawn, enters with two uniforms. VOSS Hands up! Who the hell are you? MAYA (without looking up) The only person trying to stop this before it kills everyone. Leslie Kane's code is the only kill switch. He's out there. We find him or we all die in the dark. Voss lowers his weapon slightly, hearing the city above erupt into screams and sirens. VOSS Then we'd better move fast.
